The Learning Center of Northeast Arkansas has served children and adults with developmental disabilities and learning challenges since 1959. As a nonprofit organization, we provide a wide range of educational, therapeutic, and residential services designed to help individuals reach their full potential.


 We offer specialized educational services for children with Autism and other developmental delays. We provide ABA, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and academics. Our facility features modern security systems including keypad entries and surveillance cameras throughout all buildings, ensuring a safe learning environment.

We operate as both an early intervention developmental treatment center and an outpatient therapy facility, providing ABA therapy, developmental therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy services.


Our diagnostic and resource center offers psychological testing to help families understand their child's specific needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. For preschool-aged children, we provide complete programming that includes meals, activities, and developmental services as part of our tuition structure.

Therapeutic Services for Developmental Disabilities

Our therapeutic services program provides complete treatment options for individuals with developmental disabilities of all ages. We offer specialized ABA therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and developmental therapy services delivered by licensed professionals. Our outpatient therapy clinic serves families throughout the region, while our diagnostic center provides psychological testing and assessments to help determine the most effective treatment approaches for each individual's unique needs.

Academy of TLC

The Academy of TLC serves as our private educational facility specifically designed for children with autism and other developmental challenges. Our teachers create individualized learning plans that accommodate different learning styles and developmental levels. The academy provides a structured, secure environment with fenced play areas and complete safety measures including keypad access and security monitoring throughout the facility.

The David E. Puryear Center Residential Program

The David E. Puryear Center offers residential services for individuals who require more intensive support and supervision. This program provides 24-hour care in a homelike setting where residents can develop life skills, participate in therapeutic activities, and receive ongoing educational support. Our residential program emphasizes dignity, independence, and quality of life while ensuring each resident receives the specialized care they need to thrive in a supportive community environment.
